one of the worst professors i have had, not even because its a hard class but because he is literally so boring. i cant even begin to put into words how boring his lectures are. you hear him talking but it sounds like nothing.

Brinkman's class is so unbelievably boring it's really astonishing. He is honestly a cool guy and his class is pretty easy. Take home tests take time but you can get a good grade. I'd take him again just because his class is so easy. I havent learned the first thing about blaw though

Professor Brinkman is extremely knowlegable. He knows everything about all things law. Attend class every day. I didn't read the book and I still received a B. Bring your computer and write down his words religiously. You can bring a one page cheat sheet. Do not miss class. He is so nice and caring. He makes you want to be a lawyer. TAKE HIM!!

Pretty tough class but A's and B,s are achievable with a lot of work. Attendance is mandatory and he will help your grade a fair amount based on it. Lectures are pretty much irrelevant, just read the textbook and show up. Its a really dry and boring class and test are tough but you have access to a cheat sheet.

Professor Brinckman is awesome. He seems very quiet at first, but has some funny moments. This class is basically all tests and class participation through an attendance program. He knows what he's talking about (he's a lawyer). I really enjoyed his class. You must read and study well for the tests. They are not simple test, some are hard.

Prof Brinkman is a great guy! BLAW is a tough course with lots of reading and info but he finds a way to keep it interesting. Pretty good lectures for such a dry topic and clear cut about information you need to know. 5 tests total plus participation (through and app). Tests are challenging but A's and B's are certainly achievable. TAKE!

good guy, the tests are tough, but you can make a cheat sheet. attendance is electronic, so as long as someone you know is in class, they can send you the code & you can log in your attendance from your smartphonelaptop. he curves the final grade SIGNIFICANTLY if you've had good attendance.

The material for this class is pretty tough anyways, but Professor Brinkman goes over everything in class. His lectures are very dry and monotone, but if you listen and take notes its really not that bad. He gives 2 take home test and has 2 in class tests. He lets you have a cheat sheet for the in class tests though which is always nice.

Brinkman really isnt a bad teacher, but he just has the longest lectures ever. Everyone just sits in class and is on their computers and no one ever asks questions or talks.. Its like he is just talking to himself because no one every listens.. haha. Tests are kind of hard but you can make a cheat sheet and read the chapters many times.

Dr. Brinkman is a fantastic professor and one I would take again if possible. He has great knowledge about the subject. However he is monotone but will say hilarious things out of nowhere. Gives take home tests and in class which you are allowed a page long cheatsheet for.

Professor Brinkman is a great instructor and absolutely knows what he is talking about. Not only does he teach in the classrooms of Radford but he is a practicing attorney in the local area. He is very informative and is willing to help if you have any questions. I definitely recommend taking his class.

Most boring 3 hours of my life. Hes extremely smart and knows what hes talking about but I want to throw things at him because of how insanely boring he is. Also, he lectures without powerpoints or notes so that is slightly frustrating.

VERY GOOD PROFESSOR! Pretty boring subject but he knows his facts. He helps you out in any way possible and has your best interests in mind! I took his class over maymester but would highly recommend him during any semester. The book is completely necessary to have but if you skim you'll know the facts for the tests!

Brinkman is a really good professor. Sure, his classes can get boring, but look at the subject. His dry sense of humor is amazing. The majority of his tests are take home and the in class tests you can use cheat sheets. He really doesn't take role and you only need to skim chapter before the tests. He made a hard class easier.

Brinkman is awesome and really knows his stuff. Sometimes the subject can get boring but his little stories/jokes help. No hw, only tests and a final. 2 are take-homes and for the in-class he allows a cheat sheet. BUT you still need to read and go to class to do well. Great guy and if you can then take BLAW203 with him.
