Professor Wright was incredible. He really cared and sat in his office with me for hours when I did not understand the material. He also was always cool and very interactive during lectures. He gives out surprise attendance sheets so if you arent there you dont get credit, but attendance is not taken daily. 10/10 recommend Professor Wright.

Comment:

The material in this course is very difficult!! Especially, trying to understand it online. However, I liked that it was online because even if you didn't understand the material. You can still get a decent grade! Very time consuming class though! Only two exams: a final and a midterm. Quizzes and Homework each chapter! You get two attempts on all.

He will not answer his emails. I have tried to email him multiple times now with questions regarding our assignments and he just does not respond. I know this is an online course but you should still answer your students. STAY AWAY from any class he teaches.

This professor makes the class more about memorization than learning. I asked him a depreciation calculation question and he did not know how to do the calculation. How is this possible? AVOID HIM if you want to learn but if you want an easy A take the class because you can learn the material yourself.

Great professor! Very helpful, learned the information very well. Was extremely nervous about taking accounting but with his help I did really well and earned an A! Make sure to study over the quizzes for the test, some of the questions are the same.

Great Professor and I recommend taking him for sure. Tests can be pretty tough but there are so many other grades that are fairly easy to do well on it makes up for it. No attendance but if you show up on one of the extra credit days you get extra credit, but you dont know when those days will happen. Great guy, take him.

He is the coolest professor I've ever had. Took this same class at another school and got a C-. It was so confusing and painful and I hated going to class. But Jay makes it easy to understand and was very helpful. If you go to class do the homework and study for the test there is no reason to not get an A. Wish I could take his class again.

I agree that Mr. Wright has been a great teach this semester. He trys to mix up the class activities that we dont get bored. Lots of real-world kowledge. For me though, he actually doesnt let class out early much at all. He has been there all the time, and class is never cancelled.

Jay was an awesome teacher. He really cares for his students. At first you may think it's too much. I got a 56 on the first test and still ended up with a B in the class. Do the comprehensive problem.. it is a good A. He allows you to see the solution weeks before due date. Take Jay for a teacher.
