For anyone applying to medical school, dental school, etc., there is no better preparation than a Dr. Henderson class. His gives you every piece of information you need to know during your lectures. It's up to you to know it. His tests are designed where you can't guess (no true false or multiple choice). He's tough but fair.

His tests are almost impossible if you don't study daily. If you don't go to class you can pretty much guarantee you will fail.

Dr Henderson is just not very clear when he speaks. Voice is annoying. If you wait until spring there is the option of another professor that is much better. Unfortunately he is the only lab teacher for this course. UTPB needs to upgrade the quality of their professors in the biology department.

He doesn't explain very well. His voice is somewhat annoying which makes it hard to concentrate or listen to what he's saying. Unfortunately he is the only micro professor here. UTPB needs to upgrade

Dr. Henderson is a great professor. If you actually want to learn, you should definitely take him. However, his tests are HARD. So one has to study A LOT. If you are planning to take the MCAT, this is a great way to be prepared for it.

Hardest class I have taken so far. Had to study at least an hour every day, however he was always available when I didn't understand something and never made me feel dumb about it. I feel like after his class I could almost teach genetics if I had to. Youtube helped for extra information as well.

The lecture is intense and there are no other aids available. If you miss something in lecture, its over. Tests are often worded as to mislead, additional information on subject matter is often counted against. You will learn a great deal, but the tests wil make you feel like a fool.

Tests were impossible and exhaustive. Very hard to please. If you're planning on taking his course and you are not a bio major, I recommend taking only easy courses with it because you will need the time to memorize the book. I didn't like him, found him creepy, and the tests were ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone, bio majors included.

just pay attention and study hard. Study means a little bit a day (or at least through all the notes once or twice a week) even if there's no test. Most people can't study for his class 2 or 3 days before the test and make A's...in fact, a lot of people can't pass if they do that. If you study well, you'll probably make an A or B.

Dr. Henderson's tests are pretty tough.They're all fill in the blank/short essay and if u miss 1 ? u miss the rest.He gives good notes so study them and know every little detail.

Dr Henderson was a very good teacher. He was interesting and clear but I hated going to the 8 am class. Because of this I did not do very well :( If you go to class, you'll do great.
