Brother Ladle has good intentions but I had a hard time in his class. It had no sense of direction, he left us to our own devices for the first few weeks and then when he realized that wasn't working, he put in some structure but I still felt like I was lost.

Ladle is amazing! I know he believes in what he teaches--he lives what he teaches! His analogies/assignments useful. Felt the Spirit alot! Taught by Spirit. He answered any questions. Took prep for marriage class (totally recommend it).Not only feel more prepared for marriage, but also I learned how to better relationships I have now with anybody!

While I enjoyed the homework tons, his classes were useually a student discussion. Mostly consisting of opinions on the ideal husband and wife. Got really boreing and irritating. It became very hard to make myself go to class. I suggest just getting the manual and doing the homework. I learned tons more from that.

I took this class with my fiance, it was worthless. It should have been a dating class. I was expecting to learn about Abrahamic Covenant and ended up drawing pictures of Evergreen Trees and learning about Dutch Oven cooking. Unless you are engaged and want to write about the qualities to look for when you date, don't take the class.

I really enjoyed this class. I thought I'd be learning more about researching my family history, but I am so thankful for learning the doctrine of doing temple work. (You do learn a lot in the Lab...the T.A.'s are great also!)
