John is an amazing professor, I would recommend his class to anyone. I found John to be extremely helpful when concepts were unclear and always available to help. If you show up to lectures and read the textbook you'll be fine, his tests were open book so make sure you have good notes. I would definitely take a class from John anytime.

The exams are difficult, so you better attend every class and write everything down, and organize it meticulously (If you want to do well). For the paper and the presentation, I would advise going to see him in his office for advice, but only after you have begun the work. He is an interesting prof and a likable person.

John is a nice teacher, he has a presentationand paper in the course. His midterm and finals are the hardest part of the course. M/C and T/F exams that are open book, however hard to understand. One word in the question changes the answer. A teacher that should be avoided if possible.

John is like a little mouse! He is soo cute and kind that even when you want to be mad at him, or just at school, you cant cause he is too damn cute. He loves to help and loves to talk about law.. if you want to be a lawyer he is amazing and knows his stuff. But you have to want to learn and you should really want to be going somewhere is law!

John is an ok prof but if you can avoid him you should. Joanne and Lisette are both way better and way more interesting. John knows his stuff but his lectures can be very confusing and all over the place. His test are hard but he is fair. He's not bad but he's not good either!

John is a great teacher especially if you are interested in Law. Has lots of great stories. I'm starting to believe that he has a slight bias for the defence side of things. Remember to include lots of references to precident/statute in your essays and you will be fine.

John is by far the best prof in the crim department. Easy if you have any social skills and work ethic at all. Very knowledgable, and speaks from experience. A man who knows the world and the way it is. Thanks John.

Expects far too much for a second year level course. And is also not clear in his his assignments. If you have trouble and seek his help, don't expect any. He is not very willing to explain or assist his students.

John knows his****, however he is a hard person to learn from though. Not very clear, not very enthusiastic. Shows you what the real world is like--No one is going to hold your hand. You just need to ask lots of questions, but make sure you do the readings because there will never be a straight answer, you just have to put it together.GreatTeacher

Expects too much from a first year class. Doesn't explain what is expected in assaignments very well. Tests are ok but he is an extremely hard marker on short answer questions. You basically have to write exactly whats in the textbook. Very boring class. Rather not take another one with him.

Teaches his class like we're 3rd year law students, expects way too much but isn't clear on what he wants, alot of self-learning/self-teaching.You better hope you have smart friends that can help you.Very unfair marker, tests are pretty easy though.Boring classes, hard to stay awake.Notes are unclear
