Doug is a great professor. He keeps you interested with jokes and in this class what he teaches is practical. You will use debate and argumentation in everyday life. He's great at explaining concepts and really teaches you how to debate. I thoroughly enjoyed this class, and believe it or not, the debates were fun! I wish he taught more Comm classes

He is a really funny guy, always cracking jokes. He is very straight forward and will tell you what to do and what not to do. He is willing to help whenever! Take him if you can, hes cool and lets class out early!

I really enjoyed this class. Doug is a funny guy. I had him for an hour and half class, and on non speech days, we would be out within 45 minutes. Easy grader on speeches as long as you follow the guidelines he gives you. Recommend!!

I enjoyed him a lot. 5 speeches for the semester, the 1st one being only 3 minutes long. So overall not too demanding. Also one exam where he tells you exactly what will be on it. Always answered questions when I asked. I'd recommend taking him for your speech professor!

Roubidoux is great. Debate isn't the most fun class ever, but he gets you through it. He's really helpful, and if you follow his directions you really won't go wrong. The research is a lot of work though and you can tell when people haven't done it. Overall, good class with no book to buy!

Nice guy, 5 speeches and 1 test that's basically the homework, the test is very difficult, but he's a pretty fair grader on the speeches, probably the easiest grader of all the speech teachers, and he gets off task a lot and talks with the class about random things, you have to take speech so I'd highly recommend taking him as a teacher if you can.

Doug taught this class because another teacher backed out at the last minute, but he was great. Gave a lot of feedback after speeches and always had some interesting thing to go off about during the few lectures. He's had an interesting life. Great guy!
