Dr. Borwick is one of the best professors Salem has. He has a strange way of making Nonprofit Management philosophical & engaging. He is very passionate, intelligent and organized. His classes are well-run and you can tell he puts work into both what and how he teaches. He's an amazing professor.

Boring. Wasted years of my life in his classes. Learned nothing applicable, just theories and busywork. He is trying to do too much work with the NFP program and he should retire and let someone else take over. What is the point of hiring adjunct professors when he gives them the book, the course outline and tells them what to say?

He really wants you to learn. He wants you to take part in discussions. You know what is expected of you the 1st day of class. He likes to assign projects & yes group projects. He is fair though and you will have to evaluate your group members and yourself! Be prepared to work your ass off though! And he usually brings donuts the last day!

Extremely helpful. I had him for a BDR and learned alot. I went in not knowing anything about music really and came out with lots of knowledge bc he is SO helpful. He like to play the Beetles alot in class :) A great guy.
