One of the worst professors I have ever had. This man is very disorganized and does not do relevant book problems in class. No examples, lectures are completely different than the tests. AVOID.

He is some what difficult to understand and his lectures are difficult to understand. If you take notes and read the book and take good notes from the book you will do well. He allows notes sometimes on exams. He also is extremely helpful and will explain any question you may have until you understand it. I passed with an A+ with moderate work.

He's an older dude, and his lectures can get dry. He is a very reasonable teacher, and constantly makes adjustments .

Douglas is a great man who's always willing to help, and despite his monotone voice you can tell he truly loves physics and is genuinely smart. In class he derives equations constantly (take good notes!). Just read the chapter before class if you want to understand what he is doing. Test are hard but with corrections you can turn a D into a B!!

He knows the material and is very helpful outside of class, but what he covers in class doesn't always help with homework. He spends the period deriving the equations and laws, but he doesn't do any practice problems. He also speaks in a monotone, so it can be hard to pay attention. He lets you use your notebook for tests and there is a good curve.

pretty good professor who doesn't really cover much in class. derives a lot of equations and does not do practice problems during class (only once in a great while he will). lets you use a notebook to put material in. all tests are easy except the final. i would take him agian.

He likes to use a lot of colors on the board which makes it hard to write in notes. Derives a lot which isn't really useful at all. Do homework and study sample tests and you will do fine in the class. Got a B without really understanding the material.

Prof. Early is an... interesting teacher. Expect to spend the hour watching him derive every equation you use in multiple colors, many that are impossible to follow. Tests are difficult, but he does want the students to do well. Don't expect to learn much during class, however.

Really nice teacher. But, all he does is derive equations on the board. He will use about 5 different colors for one diagram that he draws, and they get way too confusing to take notes on. I played tetris on my phone and am getting an A. Final exam was ridiculously too difficult we'll find out how bad it really was later

Good teacher and will explain things when you ask him too. The class is just hard to begin with. One of the better teachers for the class in my opinion.

Very very hard and time consuming class. You have to basically memorize the book (but you do get to use notes on the exams). Going to class does nothing; his work is way over our heads. Very nice guys and seems to want to help, but he thinks we know way more than we do. Hard class, but he did round my grade up in the end because I tried.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't know he has a class. Most of the time he talks to himself and derives equations on the board. Don't bother raising your hand because he won't see you, so just speak up. Tests are pretty hard and points assigned to each problem don't really make sense. However, he allows using notes on tests :)

material is naturally hard so get used to it, but he does his best 2 explain. pictures r pretty helpful and lectures r physics lectures, nothing exciting. labs are easy. tests are HARD, but he is pretty generous with grades. i would suggest him as well as take him 4 any other physics courses i have

He's ok, tests are not easy, but he's a nice guy none the less. Tests are open notes, but if you rely only on what you put in your notes from class, it wont be enough, you basically have to copy the book into your notes...

He's boaring, but he's nice, and he tries to to his best to help you. he always made an open book exam, which is difficult.
