Interesting guy. I took Global Issues with him and learned quite a bit. The class has the potential to be interesting and fast moving but only if you have good class participation. While he knows his stuff, he DOES NOT have a filter. Clearly doesn't know where to draw the line on some topics.

He truly is a nice guy but not a very good teacher. He gave 1 pop quiz before the midterm, 1 pop quiz after before the final. His lectures are pretty boring gets off track easily. A midterm, final, and 9 page research paper with like 15 sources. Made you buy 3 books written by him. Readings are assigned every class, pop quizzes are the incentive.

Dr. Feldman is a good guy, sometimes funny, but his lectures are a little boring. He reads right from the powerpoint and kind of rants about the topic for longer than necessary. He has done a lot of research and he knows his stuff, but I probably won't take another class with him.

Oh, Feldman. He's very funny and extremely politically incorrect, but it's what made the 3 hour class worth it. Aside from the jokes, he's a very smart person and shows it through his lectures. Though the material is boring, he makes it easy to understand. Goes on tangents that take up the majority of the class. I would take his course again

Dr. Feldman is great. He's very educated and has done a lot of research in Medical Anthropology, mostly with AIDS. He has problems with hearing and that's where many problems arise. His papers are in arial font which is like twice the size of a normal paper so you can write less than most of the other classes.

SO BORING. Goes off topic and then falls weeks behind the schedule. Old school system- Only tests are midterm and final, pop quizzes on the reading, one long research paper. He's very knowledgable but an awful teacher, also content is so boring. Do not take for your own sanity.

Ok. I feel bad for not liking this guy, but he makes it so difficult to stay awake it's absurd. I physically can't listen to him, and every class he takes attendance out loud. EVERY TIME comments on people's names. Takes like 20 min to get through the list then complains we are behind. Says UH and UM literally 5 times a sentence.

Prof. Feldman is very knowledgeable in his favorite fields of anthropology but not others. He is an AIDS researcher and knows a lot about Africa however he seems to be lacking in other areas. He is sometimes difficult to communicate with. Easy class, not the best prof.

Feldman is a retard to say the least. Avoid taking any class with him!!! The man comes to class late everday, spends half the class on one pp. slide. He is very unorganized, and is at least 3 chapters behind on material. He told us that we dont need to buy the book yet the tests are from the book. Avoid him at all costs

This is by far the worst professor I have ever had. He only concerned with himself, very absent minded...he even forgot to come to class and then blamed us for leaving. He is uninterested in anything anyone but himself has to say. His tests are obsured and the material THE BOOKS HE WROTE--are over 10 years old. DONT TAKE THIS CLASS

Sweet sweet man. Mult. choice tests are ridiculous, but there's a serious curve. Paper is graded easily and he's willing to give incompletes if you're not ready to finish on time. (Don't abuse the privilege tho.) Stay on his good side by listening, participating, showing up and you're golden. ps - don't mind his interjections ;)
