Her class was a joke. She cancels class ALL the time and when she shows up she has national geographic movies do the teaching. This class is a HUGE waste of time and money. I leaned nothing in her class that I could not have learned from the book.

She is very hard to hear & although she is nice, she is WAY too old to be teaching! She's so incredibly absentminded and class is cancelled all the time ... I'm upset that I paid to take this class ... I did not learn ANYTHING!

I have taken several anthropology classes from Dr. Trautman. Her lectures are easy going and class discussion is encouraged. She is one of the kindest professors I've ever had and her subject matter is always interesting. I recommend her highly for all of her courses.

She IS a very easy teacher...& this WAS a very easy A, but if you willingly pay attention & take notes, you'll definately learn some good stuff. She has a lot of interesting & funny stories to tell, & class discussions usually resulted in lots of laughter & a good time. Good class if you're short on book money...we didn't use or need it in mine.

This professor is one of the best at UNC. I enjoyed her very much. I wish she would teach more classes at UNC. She is very helpful and does not put up with those annoying cell phones.
