Herr Miller is the most amazing professor I have ever had the priviledge of taking. He's hilarious and always talks about Faust, uses examples from the garbage can, and will truly go an extra mile to make sure you understand what he's teaching. He's amazing and it's horrible that he had to retire!

Many people in honors found his teaching boring. If you actually listened to him, he was hilarious. He has a great sense of humor, and was always willing to help you understand things. His only problem was that he seemed to be upset that we hadn't read all these crazy old things like he had.

Very patient. You can use books & notes on quizzes & tests. He told stories in German with animated facial expressions---I liked that:) Very easy to fall asleep in his class, because he doesn't tend to use much voice inflection during class.
