Dr. Shrader was such a great professor and friend. I could talk with him about anything, and he always had a human touch unstained by even the mildest of superiority complexes. I will miss him greatly. Rest in Peace, Dr. Shrader.

He was the kindest man I ever had the privilege of knowing. His classes shaped who I have become as a person and the path in life I have decided to take. His insight, empathy and wisdom will be missed by those who have been lucky enough to know him. He was a rare breed. Rest in peace Dr. Shrader.

U have to buy HIS book-it should be illegal-he is double dipping! He is also pompous-thinks he is better than all the students. Strucks around with his nose in the air. So boring I wanted to sleep!

Dr. Shrader is an extremely smart man and absolutely knows his stuff. His class is a bunch of reading, mostly primary texts, but it's all interesting. It may be hard if you're not really into philosophy, but Shrader is approachable and great to talk to. Encourages great new ideas. Class consists of 3 7-10 page papers which are pretty fun!

Terrible class, The class average was always failing the exams, so he curved them. He does also give some extra credit. He's the head of the department, but not a good professor. He does know what hes talking about but wayy too much work for a 100 level class. A LOT of reading too.

the best teacher i have ever had at this school. he made every class interesting and exciting. i never wanted to miss his class and that says a lot considering it was 2 1/2 hours. i recommend having him as a professor before you graduate!

Shrader is definitely an awesome professor. Every class was so interesting that I didn't ever feel the need to miss one. This class had to have been my favorite out of all the others and I'm not even a philosophy major. The readings and hard work are well worth it.
