The class was do-able, but it was no walk in the park so to speak. Don't think you can just look up the answers online for weekly tests, you will actually have to read the text. There's weekly 500 word essays, sometimes more then one. I found that sometimes her assignments weren't clear and neither were the due dates. Be prepared.

She is a Very easy professor. I took her class online and all you really have to do is take chapter tests (the answers being from the book) and write essays. Her grading is very easy.

Not good. Her teaching style is by telling you whats already in the book, and then talking about her life. She constantly puts students down and boosts about her having a pH.d. She has a strict cell phone policy but often leaves class to make a call, or walks in on the phone. Completely unprofessional teacher.

Dr. Hopper was a great teacher. She was very funny and had any interesting stories. I have never looked forward to going to a class so much, and she made the semester much easier. I miss her a lot! Hopefully I will have her again :)

Professor Hopper is an excellent teacher. At first she sounds really strict, but after a few weeks of class you will start loving her. Very funny! If you take psychology, then take it with Professor Hopper, you will not be disappointed!

Great Professor! Very informational. VERY FUNNY! Knows what she is talking about. Does not take crap from anyone and is VERY opinionated. I would recommend taking her class though, she made everything even more interesting.

A very good teacher. Class is very interesting. I admit, she reuses the same jokes, she's loud, she's rather abrupt, but she knows what she's talking about, she'll support you, and she'll defend you. She doesn't use email and she does not look kindly on absences, but if you're a good student, she's a great teacher. I recommend her.

I thought Dr. Hopper was a great teacher. She gets side tracked a lot which I know bothers some people but I appreciate it because talking about the same thing for an hour would bore me to tears. She is strict but as long as you are respectful to her you won't have a problem. Definitely study for her tests, but as long as you study you'll do fine.

She was a great teacher. She gives out review sheets before the tests and all you need to do is study them to get good grades. She does involve the class by giving examples from her own life and sometimes asking students. Be warned do not text in her class or she will call you out on it in front of the class.

Dr. Hooper was disrespectful. She accused me and another student of cheating and when she found out that we didn't cheat like we said! She never apologized. I STRONGLY regret having her as a teacher I learned nothing in the class with her talking about her personal life. She would also text her friend and then yell at us if we had our phones out.

Best teacher ever. She is willing to help in all aspects in class and home life. She uses lots of family examples to help understand points. If you ever take psych 100, I highly recommend Dr. Hopper. She is the best teacher I have ever had at HVCC.

This lady is insane. She's got psychological issues. Which is probably part of the reason why she became a psychology teacher. Most of these people give her good ratings because her class is interesting because it's all about her lecturing about her personal life.
