Dr. Botsko is by far one of the best professors that SVC has to offer. He really cares about his students and will help you out if you are stuck or fall behind. The daily quizzes are problems from the homework, which makes them a lot easier. If you've never had calc before, take Dr. Botsko's class, it will help you in the long run.

Botsko God I can't say enough about this professor but you have to do the work and do your share. Brillant and so passionate about calculus. Warning a quiz daily but in the long run that pays off especially if you are terrible at calculus. Just a down right great professor who cares which there were more Dr. Botsko's in the world!!!!!

Dr. Botsko is probably the most helpful and nicest professor you will have in college. He genuinely cares about helping you in any way he can. Lots of homework, and gives a very easy daily quiz. If you start to get behind, he will gladly help you and nobody should fail his class. He may be the most brilliant professor here.

Dr. Botsko was phenomenal! I really feel like I got to understand Calculus well and he really cared about everyone in our class. He was always willing to help students understand the material, even taking time out to go over homework before class, and always did extra examples to make sure we were getting it. Pay attention bc he calls on people

If you ever need to take a math class, take Botsko for all of them. He is extremely nice and considerate. He is always happy and makes math fun. I didn't want to take calc one at all but I'm so glad I took it with Botsko. Just do your homework and you'll be fine! Best math teacher ever!

I graduated back in 2001, I can't beleive he still wears the green sports coat. He is a truly good person, and throws no surprises on his exams, althogh his lecture is somewhat dry. He is somehow both predictable and challenging.

Blue and Green Sports coats every day! Either way, he's a pretty good teacher. Says exactly what he wants, and explains it easily. As long as you keep up with homework, and study your notes, you can do very well in his class.
