Overall, this was a nice professor. but the thing is, she tries to be funny when the situation does not permit so. there are little 10 question quizzez every week and those are easy. BUT, there are 3 seperate books we had to read. one for the midterm, one for the final, and one for the quizzes. come ready to read!!

her lectures are rather boring and come test day ull be meeting people you've never seen. however, the class is very easy for a history class. she grades very tough on the Critical Review but other than that, her quizes, midterm, final, and extra credit make it nearly a given that you'll receive a 3.0

It was an easy enough class, but her harsh grading was what threw many people off. There were no expectations, and the reviews were definitely not solid. I felt like I was floundering despite my great love of history simply b/c she makes history a joke-- which is good to a point, but I'm speaking figuritively. The clarity was lacking big time.

Having met a lot of the History Dept, I can safely say that this is one of the easiest 114 classes you could probably take. No attendance policy but weekly quizes so don't miss too many days. The test IS all essay but on the review day she tells you exactly what she wants to see in there. As long as you come to the review day, you should be fine.

I'm gonna have to disagree on all the other comments... Even though she was very friendly and her lectures were very clear... her midterm and final are HORRIBLE and that's what makes up most of your grade... I thought this course with this professor was WAY too hard for a 100 level class

Really nice lady; really enjoys teaching history. lectures alot so b there 4 class cuz the final is based off her lecture. quizes on reading, but theyre pretty ez if u get a basic idea of wat chapters r about. tough mid-term/final tho--u need 2 read a boring book for each. theyre all essay q's & she grades them kinda tough. but overall good prof.
