Dr. Moon is a very nice lady. She's very respectful to her students and really knows her stuff. I took her class in the summer so I got to know her pretty well. Do the reading and the weekly online tests wouldn't be too bad. Take time writing your papers, she doesn't grade easy there. Overall, top notch!

I took a course from Moon in 2007 and failed her course. Her comments made me fee like I was a racist, and destroyed me as a person for years. I quite college completely and did not end up going back till I was 28. I have since earned a degree and married out of my race.

Not my favorite teacher, a lot of reading, tests are hard and a big group paper that's due at the end of the semester which I did not enjoy. I did not enjoy her lectures and sometimes I didn't even know what she was talking about. Very confused in her class at all times.

Had Prof Moon right before I graduated. Very reading/assignment heavy, extremely passionate about the subject (power/discourse). Be sure to keep up as she really relies on class discussion. 1 Semester paper, 2 tests, and some forum posts online. Tests are easy if you can keep up with the material in class. Grades pretty hard on papers.

Dreama is my absolute favorite professor at CSUSM. She is SO passionate about what she does and her passion is definitely contagious! I learned more in this class about myself, others, race, white supremacy, etc than I have learned in my entire life. LIFE CHANGING! 5 virtual discussions a lot of reading around 3 papers GREAT lectures

Dr. Moon is a great professor and really wants her students to succeed. The tests were easy if you did the required reading. She is a tough grader when it came to papers. I learned a lot but if you are looking for an easy A, then take a different professor. Every point matters in this class, so take advantage of the extra credit opportunities.

I do not recommend Dreama at all. The tests are tough which requires you to read the textbook a lot. A sixteen-page group project is due at the end of the semester. Make sure to pay attention in class or she will scold you! She is a tough grader for the thinking-through essays but provides extra credit opportunities. Find a different teacher.

Took this class as an elective. To my surprise she was very stern about cell phone policy in class. In this class you do not have any tests, but you have lots of papers and discussion essays. Teacher is very chatty and goes off on tangents, you will tend to get lost during lectures. I suggest sharing the price of the copied required text.

This class is moderately tough. You have weekly readings, but the textbook is cheap (like $20 from copyserve). You also have more than a handful of papers due through out the semester. At the end of the semester is a giant group project that is the toughest part of the class but you'll get through it. This class is not hard to pass just do the work

This was a tough class to take her power points are summaries of the readings for the week and the papers are basically asking your opinion. there was a group research paper and that was really hard, she really wants you to go to her office hours for help but some of us don't have time for that. I don't recommend, very tough grader.

There were a few papers, one partner 10 page paper. Tests were really hard! She's a tough grader and she doesn't like it when you don't have the same point of view as her. Okay to miss class because the stuff on the test is usually 95% from the book.

This class was interesting and easy. If you like learning about different perspectives in life take this class. I did not do all the readings and I still passed with a B. Final project helps your grade a lot, and test can be multiple choice only or multiple choice and written!

Professor Moon was very helpful, she will help you if you need help. She really wants each of her students to learn and want to learn. As long as you're in it to learn then you will be fine. Do read the chapter textbooks and you will do great on quizzes. She is a great teacher unlike some people who don't agree probably because they didn't study

This class is in no way challenging for non-Comm majors. No offense. Lot's of interesting topics but unfortunately none relating to Intercultural Comm. It's kind of an indoctrination as a previous post says. Just stay quiet and complete the easy assignments.

CHALLENGING in a good way! Will change the way you look at the world and your everyday life. This Prof. is making a difference. Extremely caring but will PUSH you in a good way. Must read the texts assigned. Weekly posts are graded hard put the effort in and enjoy the ride!
