Comment:
Dr. McClearn is a nice guy, but I have to say I feel as though I learned nothing about criminal behavior in his criminal behavior class. I learned random factoids about serial killers and crime rates - interesting stuff, but not what I was hoping would be covered in a psychology class.

What a great professor. He is so funny and goes on tangents about random stories. He has a great sense of humor, (but some people do not understand it because they are easily offended). He drops the lowest test grade, and literally tells you what is on the exam. Put in the work and you'll get an A.

He's a good guy and he means well, but has a very monotone voice which made his lectures pretty difficult to stay awake in. Doesn't work off of a syllabus which was tough for me, and you would find out about an exam two or three classes prior to the exam instead of the beginning of the semester. Material was interesting, but it was all lecture.

Duane is the funniest professor I've ever had. His class isn't hard overall, but you should definitely show up to classes. There's four exams overall but he even drops the lowest exam grade. You can tell he's very passionate about the subjects he teaches, and he always makes them interesting. His voice is monotone, but his class isn't boring at all

He is the funniest professor i have had at elon. His stories are hilarious and it makes you wonder about his life and who he is as a person. He is very mysterious, but really knows his stuff. I loved animal behavior with him! I want to take him again for criminal behavior. I really cant explain who he is, but you will figure out he is great.

Greatest professor at Elon. He's not everyone's cup of tea, but if you're interested in crime/drugs/serial killers, you will love him. He assigns the occasional paper (2 page reflections) and only gives 3 tests. He even drops your lowest test grade. He's a little monotone but is incredibly knowledgable and passionate, and is absolutely hilarious.

Attendance is not mandatory, he doesn't even notice if you're there. Tests are hard and specific; take notes on everything he says. Read the textbook chapters because he gets test material from it. He is very monotone and the lectures go on forever.

Professor McClearn is the cutest old man ever! He goes on tangents but really loves what he is teaching. The class is really based on what he says in class so if you listen in class you should do pretty well. He gives plenty of time to do hw. Only 3 test and he drops the score of the lowest one. Really nice and has fairly interesting reading.

Great professor- might be a little dry for some. Very funny, very nice. Class might seem a little slow sometimes, but I always feel like I retain more info from his courses than from other courses. Exams are easy if you show up to class.

Took him for parapsychology. Thought class would be interesting but rambled forever. Nothing in lecture on test. All test questions directly from textbook, but very confusing. Not a hard professor if you do the reading, but could be better. Impossible to reach outside of class.

A bit monotone, don't take him first thing in the morning. He's a funny guy who has personal stories for every situation. HIS TESTS ARE IMPOSSIBLE. You'll have a good time in his class if you read and pay attention.

Had him for Criminal Behavior. Extremely funny, maybe a bit monotone, but it helps the jokes. Tests can be tricky, but as long as you pay attention in class and take notes, youre fine. Also, great guy to talk to outside of class. Anybody who likes Law and Order should take his classes.

I LOVE THIS MAN!!! He has the best sense of humor! His test are hard but as long as you listen and take notes you will be fine but you do have to study. I took him for every class he offered even though the first class I took with him I thought I was going to fail. He is helpful if you will go & talk with him. Don't let his jokes scare you though!!

Really nice guy & extremely funny. Tests can be tricky cuz he uses the "All of the above, none of the above, a and c" etc. type of answers. But with about 3 hours of studying and a decent amount of reading(2 hours?), an A- should be attained.
