I would definitley recommend putting a lot of effor into his classes. He definitley helps you out learning SQL and Access which is good, so his classes are important to know in the MIS field. His tests are not that difficult if you show up regularly.

Comment:
He's a terrible lecturer; doesn't finish his thoughts, rambles, and is generally hard to understand. Doesn't add much to the assigned reading. Gave us good feedback on our final project draft, then gave us a bad grade anyway, which was out of left field. Overall, boring but easy.

Comment:
He's not that hard to understand, but it's very hard to listen to him for longer than 10 minutes. His slide shows are long (>60), and have little to do with class work. There's little homework, which may sound good, but a large portion (70%) of your grade relies on a course project, paper, and presentation. Where no real guidelines are given.

As already stated, understanding his accent (Chinese?) was difficult at first. But as the quarter wore on it became manageable. Class was just on VB programming and programming structure. Course content relatively easy.

Impossible to understand. Helpful, but it takes a long time to get him to understand what your question is. A little too nitpicky, but overall good teacher.

This class was very hard, test questions come from the middle of random pharagraphs in the book. Lectures are boring and hard to understand. 4.0 is almost impossible unless you memorize the book. Bad at giving directions.
