Dusan fits the bill for the typical, modern era college professor: pompous, entitled, and unrelenting. Read the chapters because often his lectures don't coincide, but rather consist of his pedestal bias. He definitely abuses his teaching platform so as to preach his own agenda. Opposing beliefs/thought are unwelcome.

Dusan really knows his stuff. He doesn't come across as super open but once you get to know him he is more approachable. He lets you share your thoughts but his rebuttal will make you think. He requires you to read the text(s) and gives you the questions he'll be asking on the two tests he gives. Highly recommend him, but don't think its an easy A..

Dusan is fantastic! I know he offended some of the people in my class but over all I loved how he got everyone thinking and debating theories. Awesome methods for tests; if you study the questions he sends you, you're sure to do good on the test. I'm changing my major because of him!

I love this man. He is hands down my favorite professor, he will push you and your ideas, make you question everything, and doesn't sugar coat anything. His tests are easy cause you know exactly what will be on them, and if you need any clarification he is good about making time in office hours to explain it. I wish he taught all my classes!!!!

I took this class because I was interested in Criminology and now because of Dusan I am making it my minor! He is very clear about what will be on tests and your grade will be based off of how much you study. He brings up interesting viewpoints that make you think. Loved this professor and I'm really excited to take his classes in the future.

Professor Bjelic was a bit intimidating. He comes off kind of 'cold' and is adamant on his views on crime. His lectures are quite thought-provoking, though. The textbook is a must; an asset to all CRM courses. The tests are not terribly difficult as he emails a thorough study guide the week before.

Bjelic is a genius. He loves originality and will invite his students to try and and argue their own points. But when you do, be sure you're ready cause he wont hesitate to tell you if you're wrong. His lessons are thought-provoking, but can often seem to go beyond the scope of the material. I suggest taking a class with him 100%.

Class was good, sometimes he was tough to understand due to his accent! Tests were easy as long as you study with the review questions he gives you! He does have a dry sense of humor, which can be refreshing sometimes! Over all, I liked him!

Brilliant man. Different. Unique. Intelligent. Really knows his stuff. Challenges your thinking. Videos can be a bit boring but they are for learning purposes and are useful and educational. Very interesting class, learned quite a bit. I definitely recommend this class.

He spends most classes lecturing or showing videos. I didn't mind his class, there were only two tests and then one book review. As long as you study before the tests you should be all set.

Bjelic is a genius. He is one of the most educated professors I have ever had at USM. Don't be intimidated to take his class. He is a critical thinker, he does not laugh at his students, he makes them think. Samo napred profesore!

super smart guy, knows his stuff. Also expects you to know your stuff. Class was lecture, likes the class to get involved. Showed a lot of videos, only a few tests. I liked him a lot but the class isn't a total breeze.

Dusan is very knowledgeable and allows for "thinking out of the box", if you're stuck in mainstream thinking, this class is not for you. The fieldwork final on deviance was one of the best topics I had written on. I look forward to more classes with this professor. You'll do fine, with some effort.

Everyone keeps giving him a low rating, but its probably those people who lack any self confidence in themselves and are afraid to speak up in class. Dusan is a great teacher, and probably my favorite in the Crim Department here. He has very abstract views, but he backs them up with facts. Overall, very easy grader, very easy A
