went to class on exam days & on extra credit days. no attendance policy. he gives an overall study guide for all of the exams on the first day of class. after each exam, he will give you handouts on the next material.those handouts answer most of the questions on the study guide. extra credit opportunities are easy if u look over what will be on it

This man knows and loves his music. He DOESNT take attendance and his test are EASY as long as you look over the study guide he gives you which is the EXACT stuff he has on the test. He DOES offer extra credit. The only days I went to his class was Before the Test Days, Test Days, and Extra Credit Days and I got an A in his class

This has got to be the easiest class at UT Martin. Dr. Gatwood tries to make the class interesting and the tests are EXTREMELY easy. He also gives extra credit after each test from 5-10 points. I recommend taking Gatwood if at all possible to help raise everyone's GPA.

Dr. Gatwood is a funny old man. The grandpa type. He made class fun and exciting with his crazy antics. He would sing with the music, and tell funny stories. Not to mention the tests were rather easy in my opinion.

Music 112 with Dr. Gatwood is, simply put, the best class offered at UTM. Tests are multiple choice, with plenty of "gimme" points on each test. The answers are normally quite obvious if you simply show up and take decent notes. Easiest A, tons

Great teacher, he is passionate about his work and is always willing to help you if you need it. He gives extra credit two days after each test as to help your grade each extra credit question is worth 2 points. Mr. Gatwood is a great person.

BEST MUSIC TEACHER EVER!!! I really recommend taking his class. He is so adorable and very funny. The best is if you get to see him around campus on his scooter. "He is very athletic on his scooter"!

He is the greatest teacher to take. He makes class fun and is straight forward about everything on tests. Studying is still somewhat necessary, but its a lot of fun. The guy rides a razor scooter around campus, how much cooler can a professor get.

He is awesome, he will even give you hints on a test. He is the nicest professor I've ever had, he cares so much for his students. He gave me an umbrella one time and always asked about me when I got hurt in intramurals one time while taking his class.
