Just finished a one week seminar on global issues and man my head is spinning. He is fast, smart and yes he knows his stuff. We had four nights and he, while he has worked on 5 continents, took us to all seven. He is the real deal and incredibly smart but also very nice, he never talks down to anyone.

Global issues is a complex topic and being an international student, from China, I was truly amazed how Dr. Thurley moved my team thru the process. The lectures are incredible, engaging and very detailed. Six hours, no notes, not writing on the board, no power points, no handouts just conversation. He really knows his stuff! Great class!

Dr. Thurley is a great professor, perfect instructor for executive MBA. His teaching method is much more interactive on the thought processing level, not on the caculation level. The best professor I see that GBC has on staff for those wanting a more executive MBA.

What a difference from what I have had at GBC. Honest, interesting and interested. The school is not good, Dr. Thurley is!! He is a teacher, not a robot with powerpoint. If you would like a "real college" experience take his class. Then transfer!
