Great teacher I had him for MTH 125 and Calc 1 Tapes all his classes and burns DVDs for you to take home if you need them. Also pod casts his old classes online at calhouns math site along with videos of previous semesters. Funny guy who loves teaching and makes math easy. If you dont like math but want to take Tyler

Mr. Tyler is BEST math prof. I have ever had!!!! He makes Calculus very easy to understand and is very helpful if u need any help. He's jokes are funny, because they are not funny and he knows it, but u still get a good laugh anyway. Take him for Cal I, if u don't then thats ur loss.

He was easy and funny. He really wants to help you out and if you made a stupid mistake on a test, he sometimes let's it slide cos he knew what you meant to put. I took the telecourse and the only problem is taking time out to watch them. If you can do that, and do the homework, you will do fine.

I have never had him but he helped me with some problems i was having with my math schedule. He is also a warm hearted person. He takes time to try and understand where you come from. As head of the math dept., he does a great job!

Nice guy, havent had his class but he is the sponsor of our bass fishing club, and all anglers are nice so maybe he's an alright guy, friend had him and really enjoyed his class especially with his average ending to be 102 so maybe he's easy as well.

Incredibly sweet! Take telecourse- go over all old tests he gives you and you WILL make an A. He allows retesting if you make under A. And videos are HYSTERICAL! Pop some popcorn and enjoy Cal 1!!!

I took his College Algebra telecourse. After excruciatingly painful experiences with high school algebra teachers, Mr. Tyler was a refreshing breath of fresh air. He has the ability to explain math concepts in a way that makes it seem like common sense.
