Comment:
Prof Bell knows his subject matter and explains it well. He prepares you for his 2 exams and will re-explain any concepts to you that you're having trouble with. Attendence isn't mandatory, but I would recommend it because the info you receive from his lectures will help you on the exams. He also grades on a curve, which helps!

Loved his teaching style. He made a difficult and uninteresting subject like econ. become relevant and interesting. He has a way of relating it to concrete and simple things when he gives examples. His tests are simple; the sample questions he gives are a BIG help when preparing for his tests.

Prof. Bell made what could have been a boring topic interesting. He obviously enjoys the subject and teaching. He would explain concepts in multiple ways to increase student understanding. He puts students on the spot, asking questions and expecting them to defend answers, which can be uncomfortable. He also used a huge curve to help grades.

I could never figure out what the value in attending class actually was. But Bell repeatedly convinces me there is value in doing so. He paints a picture in your mind of the concepts that are important, which few professors can do. The more you listen, the less you need to study.

Bell is one of the three best business profs at CSU (the others are Polomsky and Dunegan). He's funny, extremely sarcastic, and makes the class interesting. Tests are only 30 questions so be careful. If you try hard and study, you will do fine.

At 67 credits, Bell is only the 2nd example I've run into of a professor whose lectures actually matter! (The other was Dr. Modney, BIO.) And they're very entertaining too! I'm a book person, but you can master the material in Bell's class entirely from the lectures--he's that good!

I really enjoyed his class. So far he is the best professor I've run into at CSU, he's very funny and he knows how to keep the class interesting. You have to go to his class to do well on tests, but he tells you what's going to be on them. Better than any

Great teacher. Enthusiastic about material, keeps your attention. Taking good notes during lecture is more important than course book. Tests are challenging but you should do okay if you pay attention.
