This is probably one of the easiest senior sem classes. As long as you go and put an effort in your work, you'll get an A. Dr. Dana always makes himself available to get extra help. The assignments are very straightforward. Just do the work and ask questions. One presentation at the end that is very easy.

2 midterms, 1 paper, 1 speech, final is optional. For the midterms there are around 10 multiple choice questions from the book and 5 essay questions. He gives you 10-15 essay questions in advance for you to do then on the tests he will give 5 out of the 15. Overall easy if you get familiar to his testing style.

Dr. Dana is a really great teacher, however he is a real stickler when it comes to honesty and being a committed student. Show up, do the work, and show respect.. and you will be fine! He gives ample opportunities to earn more points and to give opinions (free points). His forensics class is awesome. Take Dr. Dana for sure! He's strict but so nice.

Loved Dr. Dana! His class was fun to go to, but a lot of what we learned was from the book, so it's necessary to read. Gives you 20 essay questions & chooses 5 of them for the test. Go to his office hours & you'll know all the answers. MC on the test is hard, but if you read they are totally doable. I got an A but i worked hard. Overall, hes great!

He's hilarious. Seems to have a napoleon complex, always brings back his lecture to his height but overcompensates with his bulk. Really wants you to succeed; he's nice. Tests are hard. don't bother studying for the multiple choice - just focus on the essay questions. He really caters to the students preferences so it's not too bad.

Very kind professor. Wants you to do well and knows what it's like being a "college kid". Funny, and keeps the class entertained. Although, he only teaches 1/4 of what is on the test. But he tells you the potential short answer questions ahead of time. If you do the short answers & read the pages he assigns, you will do well.

I would recommend this class for psych majors, the only people I know who dislike the class are non-majors. Dana tends to ramble off-subject but he is a very funny and likeable guy. He tells you what's going to be on the tests; a lot on the tests are in the reading that he doesn't talk about in class. You should be good as long as you read!

Dr. Dana is a fantastic teacher! He lectures about information that is interesting, and words his lectures in a way that make sense, he doesn't just reiterate the book. You need to study hard for the test, but the class is so fair. He only grades when he is in a good mood, and I switched my major to psychology because of this class. Take his class!

Good teacher, very smart and can answer really any question you have about psychology. His class is very discussion based having the students give presentations during nearly every class. He tends to not cover lots of topics very quickly and you will end up having to do lots of the reading. Before every test you'll realize he didnt cover half of it

Always highly entertaining, very fair about assignments and if you visit during office hours before tests he'll point out exactly what sections of the text he'll quiz you on. His multiple choice tests give partial credit for distractors. He aims for you learn the most without wasting your time.

All of Dr. Dana's analogies consist of frat parties, hangovers, sports, and girlfriends... It gets repetitive and everything is way too easy.
