Gallagher is a very nice man and a very easy teacher. If you ar erespectful to him, do your work on time, and just engage him as an equal, then you will get a good grade. Don't worry too much about individual grades and just keep trying as hard as you can and you will do very well. Great teacher, highly recommended.

G is the man. I took the only version of ENG 001. The class was a breeze. We made the material very simple, and he was always available for extra help. If you get a chance, take one of his classes. Its an easy A plus the material will keep you awake through class.

I took Prof. Gallagher in the early 80s for two classes - Science Fiction and Controversial Classics. He was a great teacher. Though I was a math major when I think of all my college teachers he stands out as one of the best.
