Comment:
This class was my first real in depth look at Philosophy and I fell in love wit philosophy. He presented very pressing and relevant questions and helped answer these questions as various opinions in philosophy by following the course guidelines. To say the least this professor made a potentially boring class interesting and relevant.

Pluth is my favorite professor so far. He has a kind and happy demeanor and always cracks jokes in class even if no one laughs, which is endearing. Quizzes every Friday but are easy as long as you attend class and go over his presentations. This was an interesting, thought-provoking, and low-stress class that I would definitely recommend taking.

I took his online winter class, and it really wasn't that bad. The reading can get a little dry and or confusing, but his lectures do a great job at clarifying the material. the homework is super easy, it's mainly just a study guide for us on the quizzes. oh and there's a quiz after every lesson so stay on top of that. get ready to really study.

Pluth quite simply put; is the man. He bumped my 87% in the class directly to an A just because he liked me, I showed up to class, and improved my test grades.

Professor Pluth is a great professor. He'll often make jokes that aren't funny, which is why it's funny. To pass you pretty much just need to attend class bc he does take role by a sign in sheet, unless you have friends. sometimes he goes more in depth with a certain quote or concept & he'll put that on the weekly quizzes or exams. Easy class.

Great professor. Really helpful and rarely boring. Philosophy can be very boring, but with this guy, it never was. Attendance is mandatory. Just go to class and do what you're told. If you follow his instructions and stay on track, this class will be a very easy class. Best teacher to take if you need to clear a G.E.

Took PHIL 102 half online with Pluth. Subject matter was difficult for me, but through many visits with Pluth in his office hours and through emails, I was able to figure it out. Pluth is a very helpful professor who wants his students to understand and succeed.

Pluth is the nicest guy ever. All of his tests are online and you can revisit the questions as many times as you want. He is helpful and will clarify anything you don't understand. You don't really need the books he assigns, just take good notes in class and you'll be fine.

Take this class online! He organizes everything great. Very easy to follow, you can re-take your weekly quiz three times and re-take your tests twice to try and get a better grade. Read the chapter, do practice questions, then take a weekly quiz. He's very helpful and there's study sessions also. Best online class I've taken!

He is a great teacher, he makes sure you understand the material, and, since the tests are essays, allows you to put your own spin to the questions. Your whole grade is based on tests and an essay, but the tests are pretty easy if you look over the material prior to class.

He goes over stuff really fast, and has you sign in every day, but the tests are pretty simple even if you don't really know the info. i think he just wants to know your opinion, and that's what he grades off of. Overall, good class.
