Literally just show up to class and study. He gets off topic very quickly, he may be intimidating at first but he is harmless and so funny. He really values all of his students. There is no homework at all in this course, your grade relies on the quizzes and tests. Be sure you study and yes, you will need both textbooks.

I love Brother Gerry, I would sometimes consider skipping class but having his class first thing in the morning would make the rest of my day. He is hilarious and makes jokes every class. The only thing is that he gets distracted easily, he can be talking about his slides then ask a random question. I had to learn most of the material on my own.

brother ed, was an extremely nice and outgoing professor. He is hilarious. Although he is all those things i feel that he gets off track easily, i know some students love a professor like that, but when it comes to actually learning the material i feel that he does not do so. I love brother ed but i feel he needs to stay on track.

Ed Sheehy is a crazy man! He's very funny. His lectures are confusing considering how much he jumps from subject to subject. some of the stuff he discusses is not even relevant at all. Be prepared to self teach because that is the only way you're going to learn.

Best teacher I ever had. Had him for an 8am yet didn't mind getting up early because he kept me laughing the whole class while teaching the information really well.

Brother Ed is my favorite teacher so far at La Salle. He is always very entertaining in class and is very interactive with the students and makes sure you understand the material. I suggest always going to class because he gives away hints about what will be the questions on the tests and quizzes. Quizzes can be tricky so read carefully!

Br. Ed has to be one of my favorites profs at La Salle. His 8am class is never boring b/c he is entertaining and tells a lot of jokes. The textbooks are essential; if you don't read them, you will not pass. The workload isn't much (few quizzes, tests, and a short paper). If you take good notes and participate you should do well.

Sometimes all over the place but you learn a lot about what he is teaching. He knows what he is talking about for the most part, but he has trouble delivering the info sometimes. Very social, great expierence, difficult class to get a good grade.

Different style of teaching. Keeps 8AM class real interesting with laughs and ridiculous stories that are fairly relevant. Reading is key to success. Very hard to please though, he is looking for specific answers and is very picky. Great guy, but very particular with essays.

At first I thought his teaching style was irrelevant and that i would learn nothing. As the class went on I grew to love his random stories, kept the 8am class interesting. The textbook is ESSENTIAL. if you don't read you will not pass the tests.

He is very dynamic in class which is great because there are always people in class who don't want to be there. But watch out for tests and essays. READ READ READ THE TEXTBOOKS otherwise it'll come back to bite you. He lets you know essay topics beforehand but don't be fooled. Be specific or you won't get an A.

Very nice guy. He loves to joke around. He doesn't take teaching too seriously as some. Read the textbook. He assigns chapters for the tests. I got one of the highest grades in the class and I didn't have to take the final. Take him.

I love him! He is a quirky, "short" man, who is in his 60's but still hip- I have 2 3hr. classes with him this semester and he rocks! Trust me you won't fall asleep- beware of his tests- he his a "cool" professor, but he gets to the point with his tests (he tells you the essay questions and exactly what will be on the multi. choice ahead of time)

Brother Ed was amazing - my absolute favorite professor EVER. I still miss his classes and I graduated 6 years ago! He was an amazing teacher and I owe some of what I loved most about La Salle to him. Take him if you get the chance - you'll have a great time and you'll learn something too!

Br. Ed is an amazing guy, very charismatic and funny but let's face it he is NOT the best TEACHER. I had to teach myself the real material through readings. Very hard grader sometimes, a bit inconsistant. Definitely an interesting class but I didn't come away feeling like I actually learned much.
