Dr. Lo was extremely helpful in principles of computer science. He would always print out the notes to follow along with his slides. If you ever got confused he would try his best to reiterate. He welcomed students to come to his office hours or set up an appointment if he was unable to help in class. Consistent homework but gave clear feedback.

He's an amazing Statistical Methods professor! He prints out the notes for you to follow along during lecture. He gave homework every week and if you didn't understand anything, you could just swing by his office and he'd be more than happy to help. There were 3 exams and a final; all of which were beyond easy!

If you like sitting in class confused and having no clear understanding of the material, Dr. Lo is for you. Sure, he is a nice guy, but that has nothing to do with him as a professor. He barely glazes over material. He gives a theorem then one example and moves on to the next topic. His exams are hard and remembering all equations is impossible.

Dr. Lo is a really great guy, and he means well. Sometimes, he gets so caught up in the work that he forgets to pay attention to anything else, including mistakes he makes. In the end, it's clear he's very into mathematics and loves his job, but I would suggest going to the math center for extra help outside class.

He is such a smart guy that sometimes he can't bring himself down to the level of students who are not mathematically inclined. He is very accommodating if you need extra help. Has quirky sense of humor. Overall good prof. for my Introduction to Statistics class.

Dr. Lo is a challenging professor. Very often I was pushed to the point of quiting school over the difficulty of his classes. Largely, he plays favorites with those students who do well. This creates a line between those that did well on the first test and those that didn't for the remainder of the class. Work hard at the homework for points.

Dr. Lo had corny jokes but it was too funny you had to laugh. Watch out for mistakes that he makes while grading tests/quizzes/homework because I found a few; he gives points back. His quizzes were the problems taken as notes during lecture and his tests were problems done as homework. As long as you pay attention you'll be fine!

Soft spoken, doesn't seem to know the material very well. Doesn't communicate ideas clearly, and doesn't give good advice when asking for help. Even though I took constant notes and all my homework, I struggled in this class.

Such a hard class, i did not understand anything he said. I went to the math center for homework everytime and in the end that is what saved my grade. I'm a math major and I had trouble. Always go to class and aim for A's on the homeworks! They help so much.

He was very hard to understand in this class. He would come to class not knowing how to do the example problems himself which made it hard to understand. I would never take this guy for any class other than intro to stats. He will just make you more confused about calculus.
