One of the best there ever was. Not the easiest teacher but you really knew when you did well. He was tough and came from a different school of learning, if you got a compliment from him you really earned it. It's sad that he is no longer alive to educate today's youth. RIP Vic.

Knows jazz but is very demanding. Shouldn't complain about students not being present to the students who are present; it does nothing and only gets the others angry. Very hard to please; best compliment I ever got out of him was "not bad".

Rislow's class is quite short, but it's pretty easy as long as you prepare slightly beforehand. Good times, and he is always willing to let you leave early, or not come to class at all.
