She was the best professor I have had so far. I stayed after class and talked with her sometimes for 30 minutes. She truly is an amazing and accomplished woman! I did many speeches where we disagreed on topics, but as long as I was respectful towards other side, she was pleased. I am going to stay in contact with her! She truly cared a lot about me

Very easy class, very easy professor. I agree with the comment about the outline, DR Safy is big about the outlines. Easy A, but you must do exactly what she tells you and show up for class...if you don't do these two things, you are setting yourself up for failure.

This woman is HORRIBLE. DO NOT TAKE HER AT ALL COSTS. I got a B in the course for no reason. I did all my assignments, attended class every day (her attendance policy is insane), and did everything I do in all my other classes that I get A's in. If she doesn't like what you are speaking about...don't even think of doing it...cause you'll get a D.

Professor Saffy is a woman set in her ways. Attendance is mandatory. I did well in her class, but she was very disrespectful to my classmates. She would interupt them during speeches. She is a liberal and I do think that if you spoke about a subject she didn't like, your grade would go down. I heard she was retiring and I wish her the best.

People listen to others what they are saying! I took her at my own risk because she had been rude and then tried to fail me when my speeches were "B's". What she looked at was personnal things like absences,tardiness instead of performences and on the last speech she could give you anything and then you find out you have failed. You've been warned!

This is the worst teacher I have ever had. She treats students like dirt. I am not saying this because the class was too hard for me. Mrs.Saffy really is a terrible teacher. I think she's nasty perhaps so she can get as many people to drop the class as possible. That's what it seems.

Don't take her class at all! She could be nice to you, but if she does not like you for whatever reason perhaps because you have different thoughts or you disagree with her, she would not say anything and afterwards all of the sudden you fail a class or receive a bad grade you don't deserve. If your interested in learning speech don't take this class. All you will learn is how to write an outline. If you disagree with her in any manner,I'd withdraw as soon as possible. After the number of years she has spent teaching, I'm truly amazed that she hasn't been banned because of how she grades her students,disagree with her and you'll fail!

Dr. Safy is a very well educated and knowledgable teacher. She is strict in her grading, but it is only because she wants you to be the best speaker you can be. You dont have very many speeches to make. She likes to talk. that's pretty much what you do in her class- listen to her talk. but you learn alot from just listening to her. GREAT TEACHER!

I had taken 2 communications classes with Dr. Saffy back in the day, and she helped me to be more assertive, not only when speaking in front of large numbers of people, but she taught me that it is important to express yourself in an open and honest fashion. Thank you Dr. Saffy. I have never forgotten you.
