Edris was a great teacher. He was always willing to help, and our quizzes and tests were always covering fair material. This was my favorite math class at CMU to date. Him teaching would be a reason to take a class, not to avoid it.

this guy was awful. he refused my answers, although they were right, because they were done differently than a way he 'tried' showing in class, but could not work out by hand himself. -- a complete language barrier made it impossible to ask him for help.

Ugh, this guy is really hard to understand. If you can learn math right out of the book, take this class because the tests are easy. If you need a lot of verbal explanation...look elsewhere!
