I really enjoyed the professor as a person. However, lectures were long and boring. I appreciated the life lessons, but some days I just wanted to get to the facts and leave. Easy quizzes at the beginning of class. Tests were very hard for me. Overall, okay.

This class was not too bad. He allows a cheat sheet to the tests and the problems on the tests are very similar to the ones in the pink book that you have to buy from the book store. He curves the tests and even gives you a try-two test as well if you didn't feel confident about how you did on the first try.

Professor knows what he is talking about. If you study what he goes over in class you will be fine. You are aloud to use a note card for the test, he reviews a class before and homework practice problems are equivalent to the problems on the test. GOOD LUCK

He cares about you passing but I felt like he was more generous to curve those that were with the lower grades I made a B on the final and I dont understand how I got a B in the class considering I got A's on the rest of my grades. Read the book and work the problems and you should be fine.

He is a great professor who has a very zen-like approach to teaching He gives *numerous* opportunities to raise your grades, including a team-effort problem after each test. The final was pretty difficult but the other tests and quizzes were not bad. All in all, great professor for non-accounting majors.

He is a very good teacher. You do have to work on the problems to fully understand the subjects. That should not come as a shocker if you have made it this far into you school life. He will help you if you need him, and is always giving extra credit attempts. Example of this, he lets you retry a form of the test at home with a group.

I've taken a few Accounting classes before I took Altemus. And I have to say I was very disappointed in this professor. This is the ONLY class that I have ever dropped. The first test, only about 6 out of 42 students passed. When you have a failure rate that high on your exams, then something simply isn't right.

Wonderful Prof! MC on tests can be tricky but problems are thoroughly gone over and the 'try2' is a possibility for extra points. This semester he curved like crazy. Has quizzes so attendance is recommended. Don't necessarily need the book if you have problem and lecture outline book. Wants students to succeed. 3 tests, final comp.

Great teacher! Very nice!!His tests are very short, which makes your grade jump if you miss questions. However, if you attend class, read over the chapters, and put in a moderate amount of effort you will do well. He'll drop quizzes and test grades to help you pass. I really liked his class, but lazy students won't do well.
