Ed, beyond being personally very talented, is personable, professional, ready to help anyone, and a terrific funny practical voice in the SLC theater department. Ironically probably the most well rounded of the whole lot, he's a peer to just about everyone and a friend to the committed, excited, and very very lucky.

Ed's a smart, smart guy. I took an independent study with him because I wanted to study with someone who didn't know me or my work very well. Here's a guy who loves to write, loves the theater, is extremely knowledgeable about the business side of things AND will show up for your first readthru AND opening night. There isn't another playwriting professor at Sarah Lawrence who has shown the same commitment to their students as Ed.
