Comment:
Wouldnt take this class from Eric again. Skips over half the material or more just to keep up with his schedule. Requires students to learn calc 2 by themselves by reading the textbook. You will not be able to complete the homework with just his lecture notes because he skips over important material that should be covered. AVOID 100%.

From my experience with Eric, it doesnt seem to me like he knows how to teach you new concepts. He just jumps right in the middle and keeps going leaving you behind to try and figure out what is going on. He is monotone. Tries to include the class but most of my classmates and myself could not answer his questions because we didnt know how to.

Nice guy. He likes to teach a lot of theory. If you like application, don't take it from Rowley. Test are very difficult, but he does grade on a curve, so don't feel bad if you don't get an A at first.

Eric is a great professor. He really understands what he is teaching and goes out of his way to make sure you understand. His tests are hard, but they are hard for everyone. He will curve the grades according to class averages. He is really excited to be teaching which makes listening to him that much easier. Excellent!

He really knows his math and can really teach it. The only problem is his horribly hard tests. If all you want is to easily pass your math class, don't take it from him. But if you really want to understand the material, he's great.

If you want a teacher that actually knows how to teach Math he's the one for you. Definantly knows his stuff, but he teaches Math in a logically way, so if you want all kinds of metaphors or something, not the teacher for you.

While this professor is a total math geek, he does speak english as a native language, and thus is much easier to understand than the majority of math instructors at USU

This guy is a total math geek. Unless you really love math and/or that's your major, don't take math from Rowley.
