He is such a really nice guy BUT it is a boring class. He is a really easy grader. Just be ready to fall asleep. You have to come to class!

Caropreso has a very long syllabus and a 100% attendance policy. Don't let this fool you, he's actually a reasonable person. If you have a legitimate reason for missing class (doctor, emergency, etc.) he's reasonable. He assigns a lot of work but they don't take much time at all. Class is boring when he lectures but lots of discussion

His classes tend to be very boring, especially if you take in the morning, but you definitely learn the material as you need to read the textbook and write various discussion posts about each chapter. He is pretty nice and willing to help, but just not the most exciting person when it comes to giving lectures.

The most boring class I've ever taken, and I've taken some boring classes. I took this last semester, last year. Every day was almost the same exact lecture. He has a degree in English, not a ton of experience in psychology and it shows. He spent most of the class just defining the word "theory"; not defining educational theories, just the word.

Although the class is boring, he is a very nice man and it is an easy A. He will give you 100% no matter how late you turn in the assignment. A lot of easy busy work.

Caropreso is a very nice man, but he is very scatter-brained and all over the place. Unorganized and doesn't stay on topic. I could never follow his lectures, and they were usually about the most random things-- nothing ever flowed. I had more assignments in his seminar class than I had in any of my other classes, the work load is ridiculous.

Professor Caropreso is an interesting character. The class itself was easy (besides all of the reading and Blackboard posts--yuck), but he likes to open class with weird, oddly depressing current events that he claims are relevant to the content. Besides that, his class is easy to pass. May be boring at times, but it's fine.

Dr. Caropreso's class is extremely boring and seemed irrelevant. He talks about random things a lot. Many of the assignments are unclear and he doesn't give much clarification. It's an easy class overall but wouldn't recommend taking it with him.

Caropreso's class is literally pointless. You have SO much work online and in class you go over nothing but randomness, violence in schools, and random news articles. It's easy as long as you do your work and don't fall behind, however going to class is dreadful, boring and long. I have learned absolutely nothing.

The in class portion of this class is not necessary. Everything is online and everything is due online. Very frustrating towards the end of the semester with the amount of work due. However, he is very helpful and willing to help.

Dr. Caropreso is such a nice guy. Not only that, but he is truly brilliant; one of the smartest guys I've ever met. The content of his class is dry but it's a pretty easy course. It's mostly online work, and he doesn't give any tests. He has a really strict attendance policy though, so make sure you go to class.

Easy class. Just make sure you do the online assignments which is writing the chapter reflections and commenting on other people's reflections. He is also an easy grader and no tests!

All homework is online, easy homework based on textbook reading due each monday. One final group project that is also easy. Lectures are pretty boring and I learned more from reading the book than from his lectures. Very lenient and flexible grader, easy to get an A if you do the easy homework. You get 1 absence though.

Professor Caropreso is a really nice guy! He puts a really big emphasis on the textbook, but I never used it. Going to class can be pretty annoying since EVERYTHING graded is done online. But you have to go because he has a pretty strict attendance policy. You spend most of class going over random things that he finds relevant. Silly busy work..

He's a nice man but the class is basically pointless. He talks a lot about social issues but nothing really about psychology. You have a discussion board due every week but there are no tests or quizzes. One group project. You need the book to do the discussion boards but you never use it in class. Easy A if you do the work. Attendance is a must.

He spends a lot of time lecturing, but they are good lectures. He pulls a lot of real world events into the class to relate to the topics we are studying. There is an assignment each week, but if you stay on top of it it's an easy A

If you do your work you will get an A. We had chapter reflections due each week and other service hour reflections due. Lots of busy work and the lectures are pointless, but attendance it part of your grade so you have to go. Chill guy if you stay on his good side. Very recommended if you don't mind busy work.
