Has a sense of humor. His test are really hard, but adds a curve to boost your grade. Politically unbiased when he is teaching, but when he gets off topic he has a very liberal view. Don't waste money on book because he doesn't use it and it's not helpful either. Horrible handwriting but he posts lecture notes on pilot.

Dr. Fitz is literally the best professor I have had at Wright State in my Four years there. My cousin passed away, and he is letting me take my exam later than when it actually is. He is the funniest, smartest, most down to earth law professor on campus. Also, God bless the curve.

An old pro and a living law school. The man dresses dapper too. If u don't like his politics it's because u can't admit you're wrong.

Fitz was by far my favorite professor when I was at Wright State from 95-01. I took all of his law classes because he made the material so interesting. Not to mention he would always let you know if there was a good guitarist playing at Gilly's!

Fitz is an amazing prof. He can be quite intimidating for people that are taking him for the first time based on his tests and lectures, but after you get past that it's not that bad. His tests can be difficult but the curve is so good for the students. If you have any questions, he answers them. Easily best teacher I have had.

Fitz isn't the easiest professor, but he is incredibly helpful! If you don't understand something, go to his office hours! I almost never used the book for the class, the cases are all online. Go to class, take notes, look at the big picture in cases and you'll be fine.

He's one of the funniest teachers at Wright State University. I recommend anyone whose a political science major to take his law classes. His class is easy if you attend, write what he says on the board, and do the briefs.

Awful teacher. Attacks any conservatives in class and has very extreme liberal views. Would be a great professor if he kept his outlandish comments neutral.

What a great professor! His tests are impossible but he makes an unbelievable curve to help everyone out. Dr. Fitz will help you with anything and is so understanding. I told him I had a busy week and wasn't prepared to take his test and he gave me an extra three days to study-no questions asked! One of my favorites for sure!

"When chalk hits board, pen hits paper." I am a Right-Wing Republican, but, Dr. Fitzgerald is about the best professor at Wright State, bar none. You better know your facts or you will get drilled. If you want to get a reaction out of Fitz, ask him about good old Judge Bork. By the way, you must know that "D is for DORKS!"

Fitz is the best! Always available for his students after class, I think he makes his schedule like that on purpose. He's a super nice guy who always learns his students names. He favors improvement and sticks to the facts for the test, ALWAYS. Admittedly, you do have to know those exact facts for an A. But you won't regret taking his classes!

Two things you cant learn unless your butt is in the chair and participate in class. Must be a good note taker. No PP slides. Dr. Fitz knows his stuff, entertaining, and you'll have to study. Teaches class like a law school class but you'll learn a ton from him.

"Dr. Fitz" will probably be everything you'll want in a professor unless you are a clone of Ann Coulter. His lectures are entertaining; you won't want to skip them (and you better not). Funny and sarcastic, and boy does he know his material. If you aren't afraid to study your briefs, you will learn a ton from him. Take him when you can.

Dr Fitz' class is hard, but he is fair. If a case is on reserve, or mentioned in class it will be on the test. He'll like you a lot more if you speak up in class. Spends the first 10 minutes or so of class talking about cultural events. If you ever need to find a good club or restaurant he is the man to ask. Fantastic Professor!

Without a doubt, best prof at WSU. While I feel he places too much emphasis on the Judicial Branch, what else can you expect from a man with his JD. He's a great man, and if you respect him and his class, you'll not only learn a lot, but you'll gain a damn good friend in the process.

Best political science professor for criminal justice majors! Class is clean-cut, you only go over what you need to know. He's pretty amusing when he gets off on a tangent. Really nice guy and he's always ready to answer any questions you might have so you'll understand the material.

Very deep knowledge of subject matter, speaks extemporaneously without notes, sometimes citing up to 20 legal cases during a single class. "If it's on the board, it's on the test!" If you miss a class, make sure you get the notes. A real relief to have a prof that's not a slave to power point. One of the best WSU has to offer.
