I adore Ed Grove. He is just the nicest man on earth. The class was so easy and I got a 100 on every exam (took this class with someone else previously and failed). He sometimes was a little confusing but still gotta love Ed Grove. Miss him!

He's a very sweet old man who really cares about his students. I am horrible at math and hate math, did okay on the first test but barely passed the last ones (my own fault mostly). If you talk to him, he is understanding.

Prof. Grove is absolutely amazing! He is very helpful, and loves answering questions and helping people during his office hours. He is very nice, and does not make you feel bad if you don't know something. Definitely take him if you have the chance!

Easy class...He's a fair guy and wants you to do well. If you have a 95 avg, you are exempt from final. In my opinion, 244 is easier than any of the previous calculus courses.

This guy is out of his bird. very nice, whacky old man. Wants everyone to do well. One of the tests was on Venn Diagrams! Gives you a replica of the test the day before. I couldn't buy an A in High School math, I got exempt from the final with a 100 Average. Grades very easily gives full credit as long as you understand the concept even when wrong

Great guy, calls the class a 'phony math class' and it is. You have to correct him a lot and he goes off on random tangents, but the exams are a breeze, the quizzes only count if they help, and he lets you make up one exam. I hate/suck at math and I did very well in this class.

There is no doubt in my mind that this is the easiest math course URI offers. If you have trouble in his class, you'll have trouble in all math classes. He is a good guy and a good teacher.

I dissagree, I thought he was a very hard teacher. Only showed problems on the board, never went over how he came about to do the problems. I say if you aren't good at math and you need someone to take you step by step. Don't take his class!!
