You have to study and take great notes. He only tests on what you go over in class so supplement his notes with those from the book. You can't study the night before, just keep up with the material. Good, solid professor.

this teacher need to retire!Thinks that everyone is a bio major. I dropped and so did half the class. I do not recommend him to anyone except sci majors.Way too difficult.

Stullken is one of the hardest teachers He is very hard to understand in class because he has a million things to talk about. Study up on your chem before taking API. Otherwise, you will die from excessive chem ninja moves he throws on you. Study like your life matters on passing the tests nice guy, and willing help your poor soul pass. Avoid him!!

Willing to help as much as needed... Lab tests pretty straight forward. Lecture tests require you to think before answering - fill in blank multiple choice matching. Final is usually comphrehensive multiple choice. You really learn a lot in his class.

This guy is very nice but he is extremely unclear in his lectures when it comes to what you need to know for the test. He will go over something 100x and it won't be on the test but what he mentions maybe once will be all over it. If avoidable DO NOT TAKE THIS MAN!! unless GPA is not something you care for.

Stulken is hard but detailed, personally I loved the class...if you want to learn the subject thoroughly, Stulken can definetly help you out. I'd recommend him to Biology majors tho because he is hard, and his tests are very detailed...but he does have a sense of humor and is great with labs.

Dr. Stulken is a VERY HARD, but VERY THOROUGH teacher. Most students take this class for a prereq. to a medical career...it's stuff you need to know; after his class you KNOW it. He is VERY helpful and extremely nice, but don't take him if you are not willing to put in the HOURS.I'd take him again.

Dr. Stullken is my favorite of all the BIOL prof. He is to the point and funny at times. Except is always tells the same stories over and over again like his friends arm getting burnt on the radiator. He is very helpful in lab as long as you ask. Will make u look stupid if u aren't prepared.

If you VALUE your GPA take someone else. All he does is sip coffee. He feels he already has his degree and can careless if anyone else earns one. The first day of class he will tell you over half will drop before midterm and that is no lie.
