Great Professor. Uses his own textbook and has you highlight the material that will be on the upcoming exam. Also on the exam are musical selections that have been given on a CD that you also listen to in class. I highly recommend both Professor Melegian and Music 151.

I had his 830 class and I loved going to it every time! He's really funny and entertaining. He wrote his own text book so it was pretty cheap to buy. He told us what to highlight then gave us study guides with the questions of the test and the page number for the answer. All your answers will be highlighted if you go to class!Recommend for gen ed 5

Prof. Melegian is one of the most passionate professors on campus and you should not miss an opportunity to take one of his courses...I think I took all of them. He is very clear, you know everything that will be on the exams and if you don;t understand something (which is unlikely) he is always available for help. Wacky & loveable professor!

definitely take this class. I took from 8:30-10:20, but he always let class out at like 9:55 which is sweet cuz u can get breakfast after. You know EXACTLY whats going to be on the test every time so just memorize it and its easy to get at least a 100 on all four tests.

One of the best professors at FSC. A real lovable guy. Obviously loves teaching, loves jazz, and cares about every student. He's the best. Take this class and you'll be glad you did. Highly recommend- you'll have fun as you learn, too. An A+ teacher and an A+ man.
