He talks a lot. More than necessary. Lots (A LOT) of readings and clips to watch. Every reading had a quiz. Along with two major papers: midterm and final. The group project was stupid but easy.

He is a great professor who loves to talk a lot. He really likes to get his students involved in the material so participation is important and group work. Expect to read a lot and a quiz almost every class on each chapter assigned. Some of the reading is easy and interesting while others will be hard and boring. Your paper counts as the mid-term.

talks way too much about off topic subjects. I leave class feeling like I didn't learn anything plus gives way too much reading. Was forced to read 3 books at once and had to buy 4 books for this one class. I only need this class to satisfy gen ed. requirements and I don't think it's right to spend that much money on it. The 4 books don't relate.

He is very unclear on what he's teaching and he tends to talk A LOT about something that is irrelevant. Quizzes every day. He gave us two weeks to read a book (even though we took a month to read another one) and counted the essay as our midterm. He's a cool professor, he's pretty funny, but you should REALLY consider your options.

Honestly, he gives an unreasonable amount of reading and also expects you to watch movies and videos before the next class. And give a quiz every day. We do take other classes. It is really discouraging when there is so much work to do. He needs to chill out, ITS AN ELECTIVE! I already feel myself failing. I hate this class.

Prof. Paulino is a great historian and scholar of genocide. Take him if you want to learn while also having a good time. He is very down to earth, which compliments his teaching style and resonates with his students.

What Can i say, I love Professor Paulino class, I is one of the hardest class i have taken to date, but the most enjoyable, inspiring, and he gives amazing lectures. If you are looking for easy A, this is not the professor for you. But is you are looking to learn something or maintained anything form colleg, take him. He will help open up your eyes

Professor Paulino is a great Professor! He shares his life travels with the students to help them see history differently and to share his experiences. He gives one midterm multiple choice(important) and 2 final essays! super fun to take and easy if you study and read. Also prepare for quizzes at end of each chapter. Final group project! Easy!

Yes he brags alot, yes it sometimes gets annoying, but he's sweet. He lets you use notes for quizzes, easy exams, and 2 easy papers. I liked him, although the bragging was annoying. Yeah, we get it you've been all over the world.

Omgosh, Professor Paulino is too awesome! I love his personality. He's so nerdy but funny. He tries to relate current events and people with those of history, very helpful. His intelligence really inspires me. I recommend him but make sure to participate and do the readings!

He is such a nice teacher. Classes are pretty boring though but he does everything to wake his students up. Shows videos and plays music. He has a funny personality but he is very smart and wants everyone to participate. Midterm and final and 2 papers
