Dr. Collins has now become my favorite professor I have ever had. His assigns a ton of homework, but it honestly prepares you for the test. He has a ton of energy and makes lectures extremely entertaining. GO TO HIS OFFICE HOURS. Seriously, you won't regret it. He's really interesting.

One of the best ECE classes/professors I've ever had. The guy is extremely clear in lectures, works to make it understandable, and encourages questions. His hw are long and difficult, but use his office hours and he will try help as best he can. Tests are hard, study and make sure to complete and understand the hw to do well.

Funny, keeps class intresting..I never would admit it but i actually looked forward to going to his class...and he will do a 360 on the skateboard if one is present...and set a record for throwin chalk in the trash can with out missing once the whole semester!..all while teaching circuits and giving you a clear understanding of the concepts..

The best ECE teacher. I knew nothing about circuits before having his class and ended with an easy A. Tests were easy and graded fairly. And I am def. not the smart kid in any class by far!! He really wants his students to learn and understand the material and that is what was accomplished!!! Take him!

Dr. Collins is the best professor I've ever had. The tests are challenging, but Collins gives plenty of partial credit. By the end of the class, you really understand the material. Besides that, lectures are extremely interesting. Collins really cares about his students. Great wonderful outstanding professor!

He is very clear in is explanations and goes through quite a few examples in class. If you can understand the examples he gives in class and understand the homework relatively easy, you shouldn't have a problem in his class. I learned so much from him, he is by far my favorite EE professor so far.

Collins is great. He will take extra time with you if you need help, no questions asked. He goes slower than the other sections at the beginning of the semester, but will catch up without hurrying through any material. Pay attention and do the homework and you'll be fine.

Great teacher. I took the online course, and he spent a great amount of time making it work. Did have a little trouble finding him out of class since it was a summer online course.
