Edward Rhodes was the worst professor I've ever had at Liberty! He is extremely difficult, VERY rude and unwilling to help his students succeed. If you're in his class I would suggest dropping it and if you're desperate enough to consider taking his class BE ADVISED...!!

Mr. Rhodes was a terrible teacher. The syllabus is vague, you have a total of four or five grades in the entire class, he is creepy, narcisistic, and frequently voices the fact that so and so is his favorite and everyone should be them. Do yourself a favor and just don't take him.

I like Mr. Rhodes, but I wish he would slack up a little on his students. He could easily be my favorite teacher, but I cant get over his grading scale. Some teachers have the gift of guiding you on to a better understanding, while others are good at finding flaws. Mr. Rhodes is of the latter; which is totally inconsistent with his character...?

Good teacher, I really like him, but he is the hardest grader I have encountered. He does tell you why he gave you such a horrible grade, and that is a plus. I guess he is pushing you to be a better writer, but this comes at the expense of your GPA. I would not take him again. Some teachers gauge their success by how many students barley pass.

stay clear of rhodes, unless of course you enjoy really really hard teaches who will fail your papers over a single mistake on them. His class is interesting yet the work load is plain nuts and the grading scale is god awful. Take someone else for eng 102

The begining of the semester was pretty cool, he seemed like he wanted to make friends with everybody, he never taught anything, he just assigned stuff. He got off by making people in the class feel dumb. I emailed him many times in reference to assignments and unanswered questions from class, and he never replied. He was just there for a paycheck.

Professor Rhodes is a pretty good teacher. There is a research paper that is 40% of the total grade. He calls on people in class randomly so be prepared. He grades hard, but his tests are easy if you study. I wouldn't say he is the best teacher, but I promise you will live. I got a B

Good prof. Gives you the grade you deserve (which can be good or bad). He will make you a better writer if you do what he says. He gets frustrated with incompotent students though, but if you know anything about english and are willing to learn, he is a great guy. Tends to show favoritism to anyone who asserts themselves. Solid Christian.

Mr. Rhodes can be a good teacher, but he's way too hard on his students. He lowers your self esteem into making you believe that you are worthless. My advice is not to take him. There are plenty of other qualified teacher who reach out to students and are student oriented, take one of them.

rhodes started of very cool for the first month then everything went downhill from that point on. he is a great teacher but very anal when stuff isn't as good as he wants it to be. and he is very negative to his students his favorite thing to tell us why waste your money here go to a trade school, flip burgers, or just come back when you are ready
