Comment:
His lectures are not clear and he is a tough grader. Small errors on homework and exams will cost you full credit. He makes a relatively easy and interesting math class stressful and unpleasant. Don't take unless you enjoy a challenge.

He wasn't very clear and studdered a lot in his delivery. He made what should have been an easy topic difficult for most students. Overall just difficult to understand.

This guy sucks! If you can avoid him do. His Teaching is fine but he grades way too harshly. A small mistake on a test takes you to 2 points out of 10. If you are looking for a fair math teacher avoid this guy and Finch they teach as if everyone taking the class is a math major. Not good! Look for Larry Chen if you want a good professor!

Clear lectures and very knowledgeable. His specialty is probability, so if you're taking a probability class from him he should be fine. If you're taking a lower level class, probably not so fine.

I got a D in this class b/c this guy doesn't make any sense, teaches you nothing in comparison with what he "expects". Tests are out in left field, whether you study or not. This guys sucks, I took this class with Larry Chen and Aced it because he made sense!

Tests often deviated from the problems given and discussed in class. It could be the fact that there was a horrendous T.A. who was notorious for ridiculously tough quizzes (I think he wrote much of the final) but Waymire just isn't very good.

I hadn't taken math in more than 10 years and I'd never taken Calculus before. He made it all crystal clear.
