I took Thompson's cinema class. It was the most writing I have ever done in my life. Dont even know how I got into a 300 level course, but I did. It taught me so much though!! It helped me write all my chemistry reports throughout the years. He's a great teacher and makes the class interesting!

I'm taking Prof. Thompson's 20 Cen Am Fict 19-45-Present online class right now. Alot of reading but easy assignments. Took him for film and lit. So easy. Easy A. All of your work is online. Going to class is boring but he takes attendance. You watch movies on your own and post a paragraph on what you think. A good way to get your lit. requirement taken care of with no stress.

Had never taken a film class before and just happened into this one and, boy, I really have a great love for Film Noir. He's a good teacher and really gets you to think for yourself and look deeper. Funny and nice, he gets his job done without taking on a bad demeanor. I appreciate that.

This is hands down the worst class I have taken at this school. The class is boring, he actually tries to tell you how you should feel about the movies. I learned more in my hs class. It was painstaking to sit through 3 hours of listening to this guy go on and on about mis en scene. dont take him
