This is my second time taking a class with Bularzik. She is very helpful and is truly passionate about what she teaches. She usually lectures the whole class but does not mind if you're on your laptop or phone. The class is very easy which consists of one group project, two papers, and quizzes after books.

This is my second time taking a class with this professor, and all I can say is she is super lecture heavy. She is such an easy teacher, but she does not stop talking. The class is super easy. There are 10 point quizzes, and then two papers and one project. She just tends to get off topic. If you have a laptop or a phone, make sure you are on itlol

Just show up to class and do the readings and you'll get the A. Every time you come to class you have to have finished the children's book and then take a 10 point quiz on it. Questions are super easy as long as you read the book. There were also 3 tests, a couple of papers, group work, and extra credit. Great professor quite lecture heavy

She is a good professor, but a very tough grader. She often rambles on about information that is not related to the books that we covered, but she always found her way back to the subject line. She was available outside of class, and it was very useful when she had us do our own lesson plan over a piece of children's literature. Just be prepared!

This woman does NOT stop talking and it is VERY boring to sit through her classes. She is a very hard grader and she is never specific in what she wants. If you have another option, I suggest taking another professor. I was really looking forward to this class but she makes me hate going there every week.

This woman will fill a 75 minute period if it takes telling a story about the most mundane thing to do it. She's a kind lady and some of her stories are interesting, the first three times you hear them. She's super picky when grading and will count you off if your opinion differs from hers. Come to class and put in extra work if you want that A.

She's a nice lady, but be prepared to listen to 50-75 minutes of pointless and sometimes annoying rambling about her experiences. She is also very picky about grading criteria, and will knock off points if your opinions are different from her own. We had to buy 4 books but I think I've read twice, and that's more than most of my class has.

Extremely easy, you do five "projects" in total but they are all just papers. You work with a group for three of the five projects and individually on the other two. No other homework really besides that.

She is a very sweet lady and wants you to succeed in her class. She does talk FOREVER and most of the time it's irrelevant. If you want an easy A then take this class and bare through the long pointless lectures each week. No tests, you don't really need to read any of the books. Grade is based off of 5 take home essay papers which aren't bad.

She is one of the sweetest professors I have ever had. Lectures sometimes get boring and she gets off topic easily but her stories are interesting. Gives encouraging and helpful feedback. Explains EXACTLY what she expects with assignments so if you get a bad grade, you weren't listening. Never used my textbook, got an A, just go to class.

Frustrating class to sit in for 75 minutes. She just talks about pointless things that usually have nothing to do with what we are doing. If you have a friend in the class I suggest going halvsies on a book cause you rarely use it. Projects are basically your only grade

Professor Bularzik is a very nice lady. She is a talker! You can miss two class period without it hurting your attendance grade, but I highly suggest going since she gives you tools and tips for your writing assignments. She does not like people who slack and contribute minimal effort towards there work. She is more than wiling to help! Easy A!

I took this course online during the summer and although it was doable, she treated it like a 16 week course, instead of a 6 week course. This was her first online class so she was slow in responding and sometimes her instructions were confusing. Tests are open note but make sure to prepare before. Her class was helpful and I do recommend for summer

Her 290&295 classes are very easy. I wish we had learned more but she mostly goes into weird stories. She will spend an entire lecture telling you exactly what needs to be done for an assignment. Hardly used the textbook except to study for the midterm. Final was a take home

Not helpful at all and awful at getting things back to you. Don't depend on her to keep her word when getting work back. She is a nice lady but has no sense of organization at all.
