she's the worst teacher in the english department. She's a disciplinarian and she is very annoying the way she insists on controlling every aspect of the class. Her class is the longest, most boring class of the week. You will always DREAD her terrible class.

I wouldnt recommend her to anyone! she is unclear about her assignments & her lectures are pointless. She reiterates the book for all them, she seems to know the stuff but you wouldnt be able to tell from the class. Also, she is horrible at helping with papers, not helpful at all! yet she seems nice

She's simply brilliant. She refuses to spoon-feed students but that's good, because it forces you to think on your own. I think a school like UTC is VERY fortuante to have someone as intelligent and devoted to her work as Dr. Meagher is.

I enjoyed her class, but I wish I could have a different advisor. Why can't we choose our own advisors? As a teacher, she's very caring, and she seems very smart. I wish we could write more papers for conferences and publications though.

Challenging, fascinating courses. Dr. Meagher's classes are truly graduate-level (as in, lots of reading, writing, and thinking required), which often seems to frustrate/anger some students. Dr. M. is truly dedicated to her students and the program.

Definitely the most hideous classes ever taught to man!! Dr. Meagher is great if you're her pet and believe me she has them--My advice: don't ever say anything positive about Literature!! That's an automatic B!
