Great professor. Very patient and sweet. A lot of writing in this class, but she assigns interesting topics and as long as you follow MLA format and use correct grammar her grading is lenient. Also shows a lot of interesting films.

This class was very easy, sometimes so easy you forget about it! We read good books and watched fun movies, It does worry me that this class was the wrong preparation for Eng 120.. I had a fun class, only one presentation, a handful of essays and one research paper. Show up everyday and do all the work you'll be sure to get an A.

Ms. Jones was an alright teacher, this class is most definitely an EASY A. The only downside is the class (imo) is SO boring, she teaches us as if were kids, but I guess some people need it. VERY easy class.

Best english teacher ever! Wasn't looking forward to english, but she made it so easy. Learned a lot, but it's what you put in. I missed the final and she let me make it up at mesa, then she forgot the test and just excused me from the final! Always willing to help. Great teacher! About 4 papers, 3 In class papers, 3 quizes, not too much homework.

Helpful & friendly. Most of the reading material is interesting. She could be more enthusiatic though (tone/volume). She rarely wrote anything on the whiteboard so it was a bit boring seeing her and a blank background. Easy tests (gives study guides), easy class. Just do homework & be a little active. Great person. Recommended, without a doubt! :)

Mrs. Jones is an okay teacher. Sometimes her class can seem a bit boring. I was not impressed with a few of the suggested reading materials. A warning for anyone taking this class: she will most likely be playing the new Merchant of Venice video in class which has a lot of scenes with women's tops down. She does though respect a person's morals.
