She is absolutely all over the place and gets off topic very easily. She babies you and constantly reminds you that you need to learn how to study and read he news even when it's a class of juniors and seniors. She makes you use name tags every class but never learns your name even when the class is under 20. She'll quickly ruin your day.

I absolutely love her! she's always willing to help! Her class is pretty easy, there are only 3 exams, a final, and a group research paper. She's not a hard grader. I would definitely recommend her and I'm definitely taking her again!

She's really not as bad as everyone is making her out to be. When I had her, I learned a lot and she answered questions when asked. When Sandy hit, she was very understanding. She gives a ton of extra credit, is available during office hours too! She doesn't bite! 2 tests, a final, and a 15 pg. term paper which isn't bad if started early.

I took Marketing with Dr. Sherman in 1984! Horrible! I graduated with an MBA but have a lousy "C" on my transcript because of her. She would make erroneous corrections to my (typed!)papers, such as changing Cutty Sark to "Shark". I gave up on her. I just happened across this site and see all these awful ratings, I'm going to ask for my money back.

This class is excruciatingly boring. THe teacher has no clue how to form a sentence let alone teach a class, she spends most of her time rambling on about some life story no one cares about. If you don't read the chapters you won't pass because you can't learn anything from taking notes in class.

Literally the worst teacher I have ever had in my life. She makes an idiot out of herself and has no idea what she's talking about. Her term paper and tests are unclear and do not accomplish a single thing. Everyone just makes fun of her during class. If you want to actually learn something, go elsewhere.

People in class wrote their names as celebrities like Brett Favre on the last day of class and she was actually calling them Brett. Useless and she doesnt even know what shes talking about. She cant pronounce anyones name or names of products and she doesnt even know whats going on in the marketing world shes terrible im so glad its over

In three and a half years at Hofstra,I have never had such a terrible, rude & annoying professor. I wont even get started on the nametags.If she doesnt like you, she will give you a bad group project grade and not give you a reason for it. WORST PROFESSOR EVER!!!! Hopefully Hofstra will realize she cant teach and keep others away from this torture.

Boring as hell but if you want an A, take her class. I didn't pay attention once the entire semester and my lowest test grade was a 95. Just read the textbook and you'll be fine. Please dear god save yourself from her. I never thought anyone could make me hate my own major so much. Her class is fairly easy, she gives tons of extra credit and curves the test (which by the way are ridiculously stupid and unfair), I hated showing up to this class but shes huge on attendance.
