Comment:

Schapa made Accounting fun and easy to understand. I haven't taken another accounting professor that has made the subject as easy to understand as she did. She does weekly homework but if you pay attention during lecture they're not too bad along with her exams. Don't get lazy like I did though my grade dropped from an A to a B because of that.

Eleanor is an excellent professor. Although accounting 1 might not be the funniest subject of all times, her explanations makes sense and she builds an interest with her impressive earlier work experience. She made a 5 unit course feel like a 3 unit course even though she assigns weekly homework.

take this class, its basically a gpa booster. spend less than 2 hours a week competing weekly homework assignment. No tests, she usually cancels the museum paper. so the class basically is comprised of 10 homework assignments... EASIEST CLASS OF YOUR LIFE.

She is THE BEST!!! She is very clear and teaches you from what she knows and not just read from the book. She makes accounting fun, easy to learn, and her tests are exactly what she explains in class. She cares about you and wants you to understand accounting. Her class is the BEST accounting 1 class at SMC. Won't regret it!

Prof. Schapa is very passionate about art history and makes it interesting. This class is very knowledgeable and very easy if you come to class, DON'T TALK, take notes and study the notes. Make sure to print out the slides w/ the pictures. I didn't have the textbook and i still got an easy A. Definitely do the extra credit she provides.

Tests are very trick questions. There a final paper due at the end of the semester and she doesn't add anyone to the class I you are crashing art history is a easy class but only if u like it of not it will be annoying and hard I got a B even though I studied alot

Best teacher ever! So nice and helpful and goes over everything you need to know for the tests! Gives some extra credit as well. Be respectful and do not try to leave class after signing the attendance sheet. She treats everyone with respect and that's what she expects you to do as well! Very easy A if you go to class!

Do not waste your time looking for another Art History teacher, she is fantastic. It's easy, but you do have to study & take notes. Obviously the only way to take notes is if you attend class. She has a passion for art and it's contagious, let me tell you. DO NOT text or giggle foolishly in her class. She loves your input when prompted.

Amazing teacher! She wants everyone to pass and makes sure of it. She gives study guides with practice questions before every exam. She makes accounting extremely simple. The homework is worth about 10% of your grade but she gives a lot of leniency towards when it is due. I strongly recommend taking her class.

This is the easiest teacher i have had so far at SMC. She is super sweet, clear, and makes everything easy for her students. The test are not cumulative, and they are super easy! 3 test drops one and i eassay!

SUPER EASY. 3 midterms, drops 1, and final exam. HW assigned daily but really easy and goes over the assignment in class. She gives study guides for the exams and LITERALLY the exams are the study guides, except she just changes the number. Not sure how well she prepares you for accounting 2 or other classes. But overall nice lady, and super easy A

One of my favorite professors I've taken at SMC. She covers a lot every week so if you miss a class, make sure you borrow someone else's notes and catch up. I suggest recording her lectures. You will leave this class with a newfound love for art history. Don't get on her bad side though! Giggle while she's telling a sad story and you're dead meat.

Great teacher, just listen to her lectures and/or record them and you'll do fine. Print out the slide lists she provides and she responds to her emails quickly. She loves what she teachers. I HIGHLY recommend her!
