Took this class online; it's an EASY A. Weekly quizzes are pretty easy. You can take them up to 3x. Papers are boring but easy to write. She offers extra credit that will definitely guarantee your A. She's HORRIBLE with responding to emails, so basically dont email her if its not life threatening. I recommend taking her.

On-Line Class, Quiz Every Week. You HAVE to read the book prior to taking the Quiz or you'll fail. 8-10 questions per quiz, but you get 2-3 try's. Papers due every week that are short and easy. Teacher grades very well and is easy to contact. You'll read the whole textbook and learn more than you could have ever though possible about the ocean

Class was fairly easy. Basically a quiz a week (8-10 questions, usually straight from the text), and one writing assignment a week. If you just read the material or follow along with the class, the writing assignment is actually really simple. Teacher is not terribly involved as far as communication goes, but does explain work clearly.

Like the review below. Easy A+. Extra credit is amazing. You can fin. all of the work ahead of time. I recommend looking over all the assignments to see if you have any problems with them. I say this now because of the time it takes for her to respond. I would ask her questions about papers due months from now so I would get a sure answer.

Super easy class. Each week, there is only 1 paper due + a 10 point quiz. 4 of the papers have to be 2 pages single spaced but the other ones are only 3/4-1 page. The writing assignments are very easy. Extra credit is so generous that it made up for all of the points I missed on quizzes and I only did half the EC. No final exam. Easy, easy, easy A.

The material of this class is not an issue in the slightest. It's a simple class to earn an A in as long as you complete the work. The teacher however is horrible!!! She won't answer emails which is the only way to communicate with her, if by some slim change she does respond weeks later it's short and rude.

I took this class online. Expect 1-2 writing assignments per week (summer C) She takes forever (weeks) to answer emails and then doesn't actually address your question. Her quizzes are horrible. Lots of true/false that are very vague. Some completely contradict the text. You can take them twice, though, and she offers extra credit.

I loved this class, but I love writing. If you do not like to write A LOT, or do not write fairly well, I would advise against taking this class. Dr. Snow is great; always responded to emails & to offer help. I enjoyed the weekly online "office hours." I missed a set of quizzes, but even with that, I got an A+ and learned a lot in the process!

WOW! This class is probably the best intro oceanograghy class I have ever taken or heard of. This is by far one the easiest A's I have obtained thus far in college and I am a junior, plus the material was interesting, as well as, the papers! Take this class!

THis class was so easy and she doesn't care if you work ahead, so work ahead and you'll have lots of time to do your other course work...quiz and writing pretty easy. No EXAM. Work ahead and you'll get an easy A. Don't wait til the day its due its just a pain if you do so work ahead if you can.

Really easy class. Do all the work and you should get an A. Hit or miss with getting help. Sometimes she is really good at responding to email quickly, and at other times it took a month or more to get a response from her.

The quiz questions are unclear and oftentimes are not covered in the textbook. Her grades on the writing assignments are arbitrary. She does not respond to emails. I would say more about her abilities but she doesn't have any and my comment would be deleted for defaming her. Waste of time and money. Take Survey of Jazz or Issues in Sports instead.

This class is useless. You get points taken off your writing assignments without knowing why. She makes it hard to get a decent grade. I would not recommend her.

Supereasy online class. BUT I had issues, 2 of my papers didn't upload right, didn't know til I got the grades 3 wks later, 1/100 and 1/70. She did NOT respond to any emails and "office" hrs is webchat 1 hr once/wk when I work. Would do extra credit but no description! HUGE pain. Really easy A so long as you don't need to talk to her about ANYTHING

This class totally blows! Sure it's easy but if you ask me, a two-page SINGLE SPACED paper once a week plus a quiz is a little too much to ask for this kind of class. If you just stay on top of everything and are a good B.S.-er you should do fine. I personally didn't get anything out of it.

I don't get the boring issue. The class required reading the assigned chapters and doing the quizzes and chatting as a group 1 night a week. If you can keep a schedule you will get an A. Dr. Snow responed to me very well. I knew nothing of the subject, left well informed, but it was my choice to learn something.
